I had been looking into chipping my Gti for a while and was always not sure as who to go with. I spoke to various companies who perform the work but never got the answers I was looking for. None of them actually knew what they were talking about, I my self am an engineer so I know what questions to ask and know when I am getting the wrong answers. Anyway I heard about EuroSpeed through existing customers, as my car always gets serviced by Wayne I knew he is very experienced and knows what he is talking about.
I read briefly in the advertisement about EuroSpeed and knew immediately this is what I must go for. Well Elton came around to Wayne to do the the work for me. My first impression was that this guy knows what he is talking about and explained everything to me. I heard the answers I was looking for finally.
The job was done and I was happy. Well where do I begin to explain what it did for my car. I could not believe the difference, I wish I had done this when I first got the car. The performance is unbelievable, as well as the fuel consumption. The vehicle actually feels like a GTI now. I have been driving the car for a couple of months now nearly a year and she is smooth as can be. Actually smoother than she was when she was brand new. Parked at the traffic lights I am just waiting for something to actually try just give the GTI at least a bit of a run for her money. The only vehicles which has given her a bit of a go was a Focus ST and a gti mk5 obviously DSG. Otherwise she runs like a dream, I encourage everyone with turbo’s to go through EuroSpeed you wont be sorry.
At first, I was unsure of the potential gain and wary of the technology being detected by the dealer. Needless to say that Elton assured me of the converse on both. The difference after the conversion is crystal and much better than any competitor’s offering. I have never driven a diesel that is so responsive. All my friends compliment me on the performance of the car. There is no way that I am going back to my old file!! I have also had my car in twice for a service at the Audi dealership and nobody has noticed that there are few extra horses under the bonnet!! Thanks Elton for a super job. I have already recommended EuroSpeed to all my friends who drive a turbo engine.
Elton from EuroSpeed was at my home last night at 5pm as promised. He took out the computer box from my Disco 2 and left with the computer box. Around an hour and a half later I sheepishly got the idea that I have just given my computer box to a stranger… will I ever see it again? Ten minutes later Elton was back, connected it up and we went for a ride. WOW!!!
The infamous turbo lag is reduced by about two thirds and at 2000 rpm when the turbo kicks in the car takes off on steroids. Should I not be happy then Elton will revert to original settings and reimburse me, but so far a HUGE improvement. I noticed this morning that the motor does not labor as hard as usual, which IMHO should run cooler and smoother. And yes, I went back to the client’s office parking area that I had to engage low range to leave yesterday and got out without any problems at all.

Had the D3 remapped by EuroSpeed agent this weekend . He collected the car and delivered it back 5 hours later. I was amazed at the difference in low down grunt and there is absolutely zilch turbo lag . Definitely worth the money. If you have a TD5 or a Disco 3 I would recommend you give him (Elton) a call.

Hi, I would just like to share my recent experience with making an excellent choice by using Elton at EuroSpeed to upgrade the software on my Audi A3 2.0T FSI (147KW). Before making the decision I researched and interrogated the fact of doing a software upgrade and made many enquiries with the numerous tuners doing these upgrades. After Elton worked his magic on my car I never looked back.
The car is fitted with a 76mm down pipe and a cold air induction system, stock inter cooler, no water meth injection and still spots the K03s turbo. With all that said, I raced a few cars with software upgrades by other tuners and the results were awesome for me as I ran ahead of these cars. I recently ran a Golf 5 Gti with K04, water meth, upgraded intercooler etc well moded I must add and to my amazement the Golf ran 1 car ahead (of course he had traction problems but don’t we all LOL). So guys the proof is in the pudding, so if you serious about getting value for your money my advice is give Elton a call and let him hook you up. Oh and also Elton’s back up service is amazing, the guy called me up on a Sunday to take a few logs on my car……..Well done Elton!!! Last but not least if you would like to race my car with your 147kw KO3 with similar set up I’d love to try it.

On a late afternoon of the 8th of September I had an unfortunate and a very frustrating incident with my Golf IV GTI R while driving from Centurion to Boksburg,
This basically rendered the car un-drivable. I tried calling VW, my companyy’s insurance, and a few people I know who could help me but to no avail!
As a last resort I called Elton from TurboChip (whom I had not met at the time) for assistance and he was there within an hour. That says something about the dedication of the guy to his work. He checked what was wrong and confirmed that it was bent valves due to cambelt failure. He arranged for my car to be towed and stored safely till his team could work on it that coming Monday. Once the work was started I was kept up to date with all the progress until the work was completed. I’m not a mechanic but I’m a qualified electronic engineer and I read a lot about car mechanics especially on VW brand.
I actually serviced my old Golf III myself. The work carried out in dismantling, fixing and putting everything back together again was impeccable, the guy really knows what he’s doing. Anyway, once the engine was repaired it was Elton’s turn to tune the car for maximum performance by upgrading the chip and a free-flow exhaust system.
The end result was impressive and resulted in a car that is more powerful with better throttle response and slightly better fuel efficiency, it sounds better too. I’m very pleased with the results and most of all the kind of professional service and customer care that I received from Elton. I would recommend TurboChip to all VW and AUDI drivers anytime.
